ROM mods for the Treo 680?

Anyone figure out how to load rom images onto a T680 yet? I have heard that the Treo 750 and the 680 share their hardware platform... that implies that if you loaded the rom from a 750 onto a 680 you'd have a Windows Mobile 5 Treo 680! Could be interesting. Mostly, I'd like to strip the 680 rom a bit and load in some files I'd like. The current rom tool doesn't work.

Nope, the 680 and 750 have nothing in common besides a bit of looks. The 750 is not even a palm engineered device it appears. It's a slightly remoddled HTC Cheetah.

Actually, the 750 IS the HTC Cheetah.
